Kropla Marzen - (Polish) Drop of Dreams

My name's Barbara, but you can call me Basia, or Barb. I'm a Polish girl living in the US. Currently I'm a college student.

Although I'm not very good at describing myself I shall give it a try. I'm:
- A tomboy, but with a lot of other sides to me.
- Both artistic and logical.
- Rather Spontaneous.
- Loves traveling, adventure and being outside
- Overall a genuinely happy person who, although has her frustrations, always looks for the good in life and people.

Ah! And I like questions so fell free to ask! I hope you enjoy!

The ease of getting and being close with others. There were a lot less lies and baggage when most of us were younger. Now he have lived a decent amount of our lives and there is a lot more that prevents people from getting close with others. It isn’t enough just to enjoy the same things to be close, you really have to get to know the other person and their past experiences. This is why I do my best to be interested in other individuals and their past. Because I really want to get to know others.

I would like to do everything…

Sometimes I wish I could live a few lives so that I could be a pastry chef/bakery owner, a seamstress/designer, a researcher in science, a dancer, a computer scientist, a national guard soldier, a traveler constantly in a new place, a photographer and so much more. And in each of these categories there are so many subcategories. Yes, I could try for a few of these and it is great that I adore trying new experiences and enjoy so many different types of things.

Now the problem with doing everything is that I can’t really master any one thing. Or you can master one subject and learn a little bit about a lot of others. Mastery in a subject may not seem super important at first, but when you think about it that is how a person gets acknowledged in their field. That is when you make the biggest difference. You have the biggest influence. Of course you can make a huge difference when you aren’t a master in a field, but it is different. And most of those individuals who truly make the biggest impression are true masters of their field.

So now I’ve got to think, what do I truly want to master in my life…
